On the first Friday of every month, the heart of downtown becomes St. Pete’s biggest block party. First Friday St. Pete is a showcase for the great bands, great drinks, and great food that make us Florida’s most exciting city.
First Friday St. Pete gets rolling on Central Avenue between 2nd and 3rd Street on – you guessed it! – the first Friday of every month. The party starts at 5:30pm and goes until 10. Your admission is free, the music is live, and vendors and restaurants offer a wide variety of food and drink.

Courtesy of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. - Items include: Non-Perishable food, pet food, baby supplies, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene and medical supplies and bedding supplies. The featured band this month is The Southern Express Band , the featured beer is Sierra Nevada and the featured liquor is Mellow Moon Moonshine.
2014 Annual Kids Fish-A-Thon
There are several parking garages adjacent to the event, including one just to the west on Central. There is also limited on-street parking nearby.
Security for First Friday is provided by the St. Petersburg Police Department. So no funny business!
Unfortunately, we can’t allow pets into the event area, but service animals are welcome.
Sorry, no coolers are allowed at the event. Support the businesses who make First Friday possible!
Portable toilets are available on site. Please note that restaurant and bars’ facilities are for their patrons’ use only.
We love all kinds of cyclists, but vehicles are not permitted inside the block party. Please park in a nearby lot, garage, or rack.
The block party site itself is wheelchair accessible, and an accessible portable toilet is also available.
If you’d like to sit down to enjoy the music, we encourage you to bring a camp chair or folding chair. Seating is also available for customers of nearby bars and restaurants.
